Let’s Get It Started!

2010 January 3

Happy New Year….Now let’s get it started!! Well the parting is over and it’s time to get this decade started. 2010 has a cool ring to it. The first decade of the new millennium has come to an end. How did you do? Are you living the life you thought you would be living? Did you think you would be richer, healthier, more organized? A lot has changed for me. I became a mother-in-law, a grandmother twice, we are attending a different church, I sold my business, (the only way of making money I had know for over 20 years), we went on two European cruises, got to see Disney through the eyes of my grandkids, my mother died, I became a network marketer, flew on private jets, spoke before a crowd of 18,000 and started a blog. The only thing on this list I had a clue about was the mother-in-law thing because Brandon proposed on New Year Eve of the new millennium. All the rest was a real surprise. I had no idea any of it was coming. We don’t have control over what will happen in the next 10 years but we do have control over who we are. I absolutely love setting goals, making lists and working on making myself a better person. It is a process but deadlines and starting points like new years and new decades really help you to focus and make it happen. Determine today to be the best you can be. Make the decision now that when the clock strikes midnight in 2020 you will be living your dream, that you have given it your best in every area of your life. I heard a quote that hell begins when the person you are meets the person you could have been. For most what we have accomplished is only a fraction of what is possible. Let’s make this a decade to remember. http://www.CandiMay.com/blog Meetings in the Louisville Area:
